Met in-line Capillaire Elektroforese (CE) kunnen telers voedingsstoffen aanpassen op basis van tien tot twintig metingen per dag, in plaats van wekelijkse labresultaten. Deze optimalisatie kan de kasopbrengst met ongeveer 5% verhogen en zo bijdragen aan de wereldwijde voedselproductie bij een groeiende bevolking.
